Welcome and reception at the airport, private transfer to the hotel, rest and acclimatw ro Cusco’s 11,000 ft elevation.
After a delicious breakfast pass through the cozy village of Maras to reach the Inca site of Moray. This entire region overlooks the Sacred Valley. At Moray observe immense circles cut into the ground. Moray thought to be an agricultural laboratory where crops and seeds were developed to distribute throughout the empire. Next visit the Salineras salt terraces where different qualities of salt is extracted in man made pools fed by a small underground stream. Fantastic views of of glaciers, snow-capped peaks and the Sacred Valley and Urubamba River below.
Next drive to the colonial, weaving town of Chincheros. This is a traditional village of Inca ruins, church and Spanish Colonization. Magnificent textiles of artisanal quality are handmade here. Return to Cusco around sundown.
Leave Cusco early at 04:30 in your designated transportation for this Hiking adventure and nature tour. Begin in Mollepata, where we will have a delicious energy breakfast. After coffee and quick rest we head for an hour to the starting point of today’s tour. Arrive to Soraypampa at 3900m. The beauty of the Peruvian Andes is fully appreciated here with the snow-covered Humantay (5900m) and Salkantay (6215m) peaks visible. After taking photos before beginning the ascent Humantay Mountain for approximately two hours.
The hike’s ascent is gradual and uniform. Our destination, Lake Humantay is at 4300m. We will have enough time to admire the beauty of Lake Humantay, take photos and enjoy nature in all its splendor. We will descend to our starting point (1 hr) where our transportation will be waiting to return us to Mollepata for lunch. Return to Cusco around 17h30.
Morning rest to recover from yesterday’s adventure. Leisurely afternoon ½ day tour of Cusco City and the surrounding important Inca sites just outside of Cusco. Visit the most impressive archaeological and spiritual sites just north of Cusco. Begin in La Catedral, an impressive and cultural structure in the Main Square, Plaza de Armas where you can see more than 400 paintings from the School of Cusco amongst beautiful altars. Nearby stop in Koricancha (Temple of the Sun) which is an important place where Catholic and Inca construction fused with the arrival of the spaniards who were unable to destroy the Inca temples dedicated to the sun, the stars and the moon formerly lined with gold and silver plates.
Next we we drive north up and out of Cusco City for 15 minutes to the magnificent site of Sacsayhuaman, a religious site with huge 100 ton monolithic stone 8 meter high walls that overlooks Cusco. Then we will visit Qenqo or labyrinth, Tambomachay for the cult to water, and Pucapucara that possibly was a military center. The tour will end after 4 hours.
Early morning hotel greeting and transfer to Vinincunca passing through different traditional villages. The Rainbow mountain of colors in the Ausangate region are visible due to the Mineralogical composition of the site which makes it a magical site to see the different tonalities of the mountain. The way of ascent is almost 8Km (3 hrs) and is located at 5 200 meters above sea level. Once arrived at the destination we can see the beautiful mountain that offers its colors, a unique experience. A challenging hike to get your adrenaline flowing. Return to Cusco before 6PM.
After breakfast and check out visit the Sacred Valley of the Incas, a place that offers beautiful views of the river, snow capped peaks and glaciers. It is still a place of agriculture and religious centers. Visit the handicraft market and Pisaq, enjoy a delicious buffet lunch in the Sacred Valley, then we will visit the traditional town of Ollantaytambo, a place of incomparable Incan architecture and hydraulic engineering. Its wall is of unparalleled construction and the town is as it was 400 years ago. In the afternoon we will take the train to Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu, where our staff will wait for you to take you (walk) to the hotel. Our guide will look for you to give you an informative talk about what will be the next day’s tour in the Wonder of the World ¨Machu Picchu¨.
Finally an important and expected day, our guide will go up with you to the Wonder of the World Machu Picchu, Inca citadel that shows the perfect harmony between nature and architecture, our guide will show them and explaining the main places of this place, enclosures that have a history, a form, a view, a study, an enigma that captivates and conquers and that takes us to the past.
Our guide will be approximately for 2 hours, then you will have time to explore this amazing place.

In the afternoon, we will go to the station and take the return train to the Imperial city of Cusco, where our staff will be waiting to take you to the hotel.
