Your Paracas, Ballestas, Nazca, Machu Picchu, Lake Titicaca, Peru 11 Days journey begins in Lima. You will be greeted in the Lima Airport terminal and taken by private van to your Miraflores hotel to check-in.
After breakfast and check out you will be met in your Miraflores Hotel by private car and taken 3 hours south to Paracas on the Pacific Ocean.
After checking in to your hotel you will be driven to the Paracas National Reserve for a delightful motor yacht tour of the Ballestas Island, also known as the “small Galapagos “. Although the islands are off limits to people so as not disturb the wildlife, your tour boat will get close enough for you to observe its amazing wildlife inhabitants such as pelicans, penguins, cormorants, Peruvian boobies, Inca terns and walruses.
Keep your eyes open also for sea lions, turtles and dolphins. You will also be treated to a site, from sea, of the Paracas Candelabra. This is an ancient etching in the sand that may have been a beacon to sailors from long ago. After the boat tour you will be returned to your hotel in Paracas. Paracas is an oceanside tourist city with restaurants and shops along the beach.
Overnight in Paracas.
After breakfast and check out you will be taken 2.5 hour south by private car to the small airport in Nazca for your aerial tour of the Nazca lines. The giant figures etched in the sand at Nazca can only be appreciated fully by air.
See the Monkey, the spider, spaceman, hummingbird and geometric birds. These mysterious huge “drawings” are possibly an astrological calendar but their construction and true intent are a mystery still.
After the tour you will be driven by private car to Lima. Stop along the way at an artisanal winery and at the oasis town of Huacachina.

Sandboarding and Riding Dune Buggies
Huacachina is built around a small natural lake in the desert. Called the “oasis of America,” it serves as a resort for local families from the nearby city of Ica, and increasingly as an attraction for tourists drawn by the sports of sandboarding on sand dunes that stretch several hundred feet high. Other popular activities include dune buggy rides on buggies known locally as areneros.
After breakfast and check out you will be greeted in your Miraflores hotel and driven by private car to the Lima airport for your 1 hour flight SE over the Andes to historic Cusco, Peru. In Cusco you will be greeted in the airport and taken by private car to your luxury hotel in the heart of Cusco. Rest, drink water and coca tea to help acclimate to Cusco’s 3300 meter elevation. In the afternoon you will be taken on the an unforgettable private Cusco City Tour.
Visit the Plaza de Armas, The Temple of the Sun (Coricancha), and visit the ancient ceremonial sites of the Incas just outside of Cusco: the megalithic walls of Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo and Puca Pucara. Then visit the baths, canals, aqueducts and waterfalls of Tambomachay. After completion of the tour you will be brought back to your hotel.
Overnight in Cusco.
After breakfast and check out leave the bulk of your luggage in secure hotel storage and bring just an overnight bag. You will be picked up at your hotel and driven by private car to the train station (20 minutes) to board the Hiram Bingham train to Aguas Calientes (4 hours).
After breakfast check out and leave your luggage in hotel storage until you are finished touring the park. You will be met by your guide and taken on a private tour of Machu Picchu. Arrive early to see the sunrise if you wish. Enjoy a 2 hour guided tour with your guide and later have time to explore on your own.
Bring passport with you to the Machu Picchu entrance to receive a souvenir stamp in it.
When finished, retrieve your luggage from hotel storage and take the bus back down to Aguas Calientes to board your train to Ollantaytambo. You will be greeted in the Ollantaytambo train station and taken to your Sacred Valley hotel by private car (30 minutes).
You will be greeted by your guide and driver in your hotel and taken on a private tour of the beautiful Sacred Valley. This ride through The Land of the Incas first stops in the archaeological city of Ollantaytambo, an original Inca city. Scale the magnificent wall and see where the 2 valleys converge. This is where the Inca defended the Sacred Valley to the North.
Continue on to Urubamba where you’ll stop and have a delicious typical Andean buffet lunch. Finally stop in Chincheros, a beautiful place to visit the famous Indian market.
Return to Cusco in the evening.
After breakfast check-out of your hotel and bring everything with you. You will be greeted in your hotel and taken by private car to Puno from Cusco. You can stop to see these sites along the way: Andahuaylillas Andean church, Raqchi vitlage ruins, buffet lunch in Sicuani, La Raya, the highest point on the route at over 4,300 meters elevation and finally the small museum at Pucara.
You will be taken to your hotel in Puno to check in.
After an excellent breakfast you will be taken to Titicaca Lake for a visit to the floating man-made Islands of Uros on a private motor yacht tour. Here you will meet, up-close the citizens who have preserved their old traditions and still live on the water. “The Aquatic Tribe” will show you how they have kept their customs, make their islands and display their crafts made of reeds.
The motor yacht tour then continues to the island of Taquile, inhabited by native Quechuas. On Taquile you can appreciate and purchase some of the finest handmade crafts and basket weavings in Perú. Typical lunch included on Taquile of fresh lake trout or a vegetarian option. In the late afternoon return to Puno by boat where your van will be waiting to return you to your hotel.
Overnight in Puno.
After breakfast check out of your hotel this morning and bring everything with you. You will be taken by private car to the Juliaca airport for your flight to Lima. On the way to the airport stop in Sillustani to see the chulpas tombs beside the lake. In Lima you will be greeted in the airport and driven by private car to your luxury hotel.
“The City of the Kings” tour visits the Plaza Mayor Lima and the 16th century Cathedral of gold, followed by a tour of the catacombs at the Convento San Francisco.
The tour comes to a close in one of the most beautiful residential districts in Lima, Miraflores. There you will visit the only pre-Inca ruin remaining there, Huaca Pucllana. Constructed in the 2nd century AD.
You will be taken to the Lima airport by private car in time for your departing flight.
