Inca Trail Availability 2025

In accordance with the regulations of the Peruvian Ministry of Culture, the Inca Trail will remain closed during February for maintenance, conservation, and cleaning. Access will be re-enabled from March 1st.

Reservation Process

Important Information

  • Available spaces are limited and may sell out months in advance.
  • Access to Wayna Picchu is also in high demand and has limited availability.
  • Permits are managed exclusively by the Peruvian Ministry of Culture.
  • The Inca Trail has a daily limit of 500 people, including authorized personnel.
  • If you choose the Salkantay Trek, Inca Jungle, Choquequirao Trek, or Lares Trek, your visit to Machu Picchu will take place on the last day of the journey.

Starting in 2024, visitors must choose between three circuits within Machu Picchu. Review the available options and plan your experience in advance.
